As parents Malcolm and Lisa are concerned about violence in children's entertainment. The Cody's Crew computer animated video is non-violent, non-denominational entertainment with a positive message.

The construction video for kids who love construction
The new Cody's Crew video was made especially for kids who love construction. We'd like to think it's THE construction video for kids!

Construction Activities
The construction activities on the Cody's Crew web site are designed to help kids learn and develop their skills (see below). Most importantly they are designed to be fun and entertaining.

Initially all the activities on this site will be print out activities. Making the activities printable means more than one copy can be printed, so more than one person can work on a given activity at a time. It also means we can provide a new activity everyday.

You'll find lots of activities for kids to do. As we build our collection you'll find: a new activity every day, dot-to-dots, word-finds, find-the-difference pictures, cut up puzzles, coloring and lots, lots more! Just print them out and have fun. They're great for party loot-bags, and as rainy day activities too. Drop them into lunch bags and put them on the table to entice the kids down for breakfast. Teachers - lots of the activities have been designed to help kids understand the things around them - colour, geography, time, numbers and letters etc. Most importantly we've tried to keep all the activities fun, so learning is fun. Please feel free to print out as many copies of the activities as you like. And remember, we post a new activity every day - so come back tomorrow and the day after and the next day and the next day and...

As any parent knows, kids develop at their own pace. One 5 year old may be able to do simple addition and another cannot. One 3 year old may be keenly interested in learning the alphabet while another is more interested in drawing. For this reason the activities on this site range in level of complexity and skills required to complete them. We try to rotate activities so that an "easy" activity is followed by one more "challenging" the next day.

Privacy
As parents we too are concerned about privacy. We encourage you to be involved with your children's use of the internet and E-mail. And, while we're always happy to have repeat guests and new visitors it's a good idea to have balance in your children's activities. If for any reason you choose to contact us you should know that we will not sell, trade or otherwise forward your E-mail address to anyone else. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about privacy here.

Kids: Please ask your parents for permission before you send any information about yourself (your E-mail address, your name, your street address, etc.) to us or anyone else over the Internet.

Printable activities
The activities on this site are made printable by making use of Adobe Acrobat's .pdf format. With the Acrobat .pdf format, we can ensure that your printer will print out the activity properly - not taking up four pages or only half a page when it should take up one. Adobe Acrobat is compatible with both Netscape and Internet Explorer and is pretty much the standard for creating printable documents and artwork on-line. If you don't already have it, you can download it (free) here

Activities for everyone

The construction activities are meant to be used by kids at home, educators and childcare workers. They can be printed out in advance and used at parties, for loot bags, on rainy days, and as lunch bag surprises.

Coloring
Coloring helps to promote hand eye coordination, color recognition and when done in the company other kids encourage social interaction.

Mazes
Mazes and other puzzles help kids develop their problem solving skills and encourages them to look at challenges from a variety of perspectives - for example, some kids will try solving the mazes starting at the finish and working backwards to the start. Others will use one color pencil to "find" the solution then go over the correct route with a different color.

Dot to dots

Dot-to-dots and other "complete the drawing" activities help kids develop their visualization skills promote the importance of order and following instructions..

Thanks for coming!
We hope you and your kids enjoy the Cody's Crew site.
